Sunday Ojeka’s hat trick sinks BE Arena FA in season opener

Leal SC’s center forward, Sunday Ojeka, scored a hat trick against BE Arena FA in the season opener of the Dynasty Scouting League 2025 season 1.

The game, which was a week one clash in the new DSL season, took place on Thursday, the 6th of March, 2025, at the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode.

The game ended 1-4 in favor of Leal SC. Abdullahi Ahmon also scored a goal for Leal SC, while last season’s joint top goal scorer, Emmanuel Nweke, scored BE Arena FA’s only goal.

Ojeka continued where he stopped last season, where he scored eight goals in 13 league games in the 2024 DSL season 2.

According to the chairman of Leal SC, Olaolu Onadipe, performance like this will attract suitors for Ojeka from bigger clubs in Europe.

When asked about his team’s performance after the game, he has this to say:

They all did well today; they were focused in all departments, and I expect them to keep this attitude and mentality until the end of the season

Sunday Ojeka also won the MOTM award that is sponsored by Trailblazer Sport Management for his outstanding performance.

Thanks to their jersey number 9’s hat trick, Leal SC is now on top of the DSL 2025 S1 league table. They will face league debutant Rising Royals International FA, who defeated Immaculate FC 3-0 in their season opener.
