Ahead of the DSL 2025 season 1, which will commence on Thursday, the 6th of March 2025, the league’s organisers have unveiled new referees’ uniforms that will be used this season.
The unveiling ceremony, which took place at the main bowl of the Dipo Dina International Stadium in Ijebu-Ode on Tuesday, the 5th of March 2025, was an opportunity for the organisers to present the three new sets of referees’ uniforms to the chairman of the referees society (Ijebu-Ode chapter).
The Chairman of IOFRS, Rtd. Ref. Akinola Aregbesola, who was part of the unveiling ceremony, appreciated the gesture of the League Management and reiterated that the referees shall not cease to discharge their duties with firmness, fairness, and friendliness.
According to the organisers, the gesture was not only to acknowledge and appreciate the good working relationship and unbiased officiating by the match officials but also to beautify the league.
In the same vein, the organisers encourage the referees to keep doing their good job and to improve on areas they need to.
