The younger brother of former Immaculate FC attacker Omosebi Babatunde, now playing for Etoile de l’est FC in Rwanda, made his debut for Immaculate FC.
Omosebi Idowu was introduced in the beginning of the second half of the club season opener against Rising Royals Int’l FA in the ongoing dynasty scouting league 2025 season 1.
It was a week one clash against Rising Royals Int’l FA, which took place on Friday, the 7th of March 2025, at the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode.
Not the dream debut the teenager wanted as Immaculate FC lost 3-0 to the league debutants, although the young Omosebi made some impact when he was introduced, but his best was not good enough to rescue at least a point for his team.
“It was a mixed feeling for me after the game,” says Idowu. “I’m happy to make my debut for Immaculate FC because I have been a fan of Immaculate FC for a very long time, but I’m sad because we did not win the game today”
According to Idowu, comparing him with his elder brother would put more pressure on him because he believes his brother attained a legendary status with immaculate FC. He continues,
I do not like the comparison. I want to also make a name for myself in this great club by scoring goals just like my elder brother did when he was here. For me, I think the comparison will only distract me, so I will not pay attention to it.
Omosebi Idowu was registered with jersey number 29, and he will be hoping to start the next game after his outstanding performance from right wing forward on his league debut.
