Just about five days to go for the new DSL season; the league’s organisers are optimistic that everything is set for a successful season.

The 2025 edition of the Dynasty Scouting League will be the 5th installment of the league, as two editions each were played in 2023 and 2024.

The organiser (Dynasty Sports Limited) put together a seminar for stakeholders from the 14 participating clubs on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Media Centre, Main Bowl, Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode. The whole idea of the seminar was to sensitise them on vital information such as the Afriskaut data analysis technology, the changes in the Laws of the game, and some other issues before the commencement of the league on the 6th of March, 2025.

Mr. Godwin Nse, a co-founder of Dynasty Sport Limited, told Futebol.com.ng what they are expecting in the coming season.

We are set for the 2025 DSL Season 1, we have ensured that we improve in every area from previous seasons.  We expect to have another successful season by the grace of God.

When asked which team he believes will win the league at the end of the season, he has this to say:

I must emphasise one more time that DLS is a special league. The original motive is not about winning the league; it is about exposing the young talented players to top football scouts, agents, and club directors abroad who are also monitoring the progress of the league and the players they have interest on. To be sincere, all 14 teams are winners even before the kick of the ball because they have provided opportunities to their young players to be scouted abroad.

The 2025 season one will span for thirteen weeks, and matches will be played on Thursdays and Fridays at the Main Bowl, Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode.

A total of 91 games will be played.
