The much-anticipated Dynasty Scouting League (DSL) 2025 season 2 edition will kick off Thursday, 4th September 2025, at the main bowl of the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
In a pre-tournament press conference that was held Thursday, 28th September 2025, at the Media Centre, Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium, the organisers of the league disclosed the number of the teams participating in the winter edition (season 2) of the U19 scouting league and the format of the league to gentlemen of the press from different media houses and representatives of the participating teams. The new DSL giant trophy that was donated by Mr John Zimako, the Chairman of D Shack FA, was unveiled at the press conference.
According to the organisers, thirteen top grassroots teams across the South-West states in Nigeria will keenly contest in the second edition of the 2025 Dynasty Scouting League that will span for 13 weeks starting from the 4th of September, 2025, and matches will be played only on Thursdays.
Participating teams in DSL 2025 Season 2:
Six teams that played the 2025 season 1: Leal SC, D Shack FA, Utility Sports FC, Ilaji FC, Kakawa FC, and Immaculate FC.
Three returning teams: Obazz FC, Kiraa FA, and Super Accurate FA
Four debutants’ teams: Dream2Reality FC, Easy Nter Global FC, Moxie Samurai FC, and Stanique FC
The organisers of the league also presented the following awards from the previous season during the press conference:
– Coach of the Season: Shakiru Abdulrazak (LEAL SC)
– Fair Play Award: FIMA FC
– Special Recognition Award: ILAJI FC
DSL Week One Fixtures
The first game of the season will be a clash between the most successful team in the dynasty scouting league (won the league a record of three times out of five previous editions) and the defending champions, Leal SC and Easy Nter Global FC, who are making their debut in the DSL, and it will kick off by 8:00 am local time, followed by five other matches.

“We are expecting to have a close to perfect season.” Mr Godwin Nse, co-founder of DSL, disclosed to futebol.com. ng in an interview, he continued, “From our part as organisers, everything is set; we have done the needful, and we pray God perfect all our efforts, and this season as usual we have assembled top teams that will increase the standard of the league both on and off the pitch. We hope to record more success in the area of player transfer this season as we did in previous seasons”.

The 2025 DSL Season 2 edition will mark the 6th iteration of the league, with two editions held each year to prepare players for the European transfer windows.
The summer edition commences in February, whereas the winter edition begins in September.
