Former Immaculate FC of Nigeria centre forward Omosebi Babatunde scored a brace for Etoile de l’est FC in the Ferwafa men’s second division in Rwanda.
The game was a week-24 home game that was played on 6th April, 2025, against Arpha FC and was also the last game of the regular season.
Omosebi Babatunde scored in both halves of the match, in the 1st and 68th minutes of the match, which ended 7-1 in favour of Etoile de l’est.
The former Inter Lagos FC loanee, who joined Etoile de l’est in the January 2025 transfer window, has now scored 6 goals and 5 assists in ten league games for the Rwandan outfit.

“I’m delighted we made it to the promotion playoff.” Omosebi told futebol.com.ng in a post-match interview, “I will give my all during the promotion playoff to ensure we gain promotion because this was the reason I signed for this great club: to take them back to the top where we belong.”
